Paradise Saturdays : I Want Your Love

Saturday 2nd December

After a memorable opening party in early November, we are excited to be back with "I Want Your Love" at The Paradise Club by way of Kensal Rise this Saturday night 2 December. Celebrating the vibe and music of the 70s and early 80s Discotheque (think Chic, Donna Summer and War via Marvin Gaye and Al Green, to ESG, Ian Drury and funky Clash) highlights of last months party included the "Affection Section" when the lights dimmed for some serious cheek to cheek slow dancing

John Richmond Party Milan

Congratulations to John Richmond and his team for a Rocking party last night to celebrate his return to fashion with a new backer and distributor after a 2 year absence ! The party at Milan's old music hall theatre Ex Cinema Arti was styled as a 70s/early 80s rock gig with mannequins and wall projections of his new capsule collection (available on line as from today) and iconic past pieces. To create a more intimate vibe with an almost a meet and greet feel, a small stage was set up in the middle of the floor for Adil and rising female indie duo The Smoke Fairies to perform; highlights included the band jamming with John on versions of "I wanna be your dog", "I'm waiting for the man" and "Personal Jesus".
